So what does a tour with 4experience look like? Let me lay it all out for you. First thing’s first: you’ll have your choice from their roster of the newest models of luxury vehicles. On day one of your tour, the Director (an expert driver) will meet you at Porto Cervo and show you the ropes on the car model you’ve chosen so you can be most comfortable on those hairpin turns. Then you’ll hit the road, driving along the Costa Smeralda route taking in countryside, vineyards and the fragrant air that smells of myrtle and rosemary.
You will arrive at Oliena and visit the Su Gologone Hotel, a charming resort furnished with priceless antiques and Sardinian textiles. The hotel will welcome you with a tasting platter of typical Sardinian treats, whetting your appetite for lunch which can either be taken at the hotel or among the shepherds of the nearby Supramonte mountain for those who want a more rustic experience.
In the afternoon, you can relax in a spring water pool or whirlpool and book spa treatments at your heart’s content. Before dinner, you will be welcomed into the hotel’s Cantina for a taste of local wine, cheeses and cured meats. After dinner in the hotel’s beautiful dining hall, you will have a grappa tasting on the terrace while listening to local tenors sing.
On the second day, you might have the chance to try a different vehicle depending on your contract. You will be whisked away to the Villa Las Tronas hotel, known for their Turkish bath and indoor pool with seawater. In the afternoon, you will visit award-winning wineries in the region, namely the Sella&Mosaca winery which has a historic cellar dating back to 1903.
Return for a candlelit dinner at the hotel followed by a romantic stroll in the charming town to learn more about its history.
